Aniplex released the seventh promotional video for the new Rurouni Kenshin anime, adapting Nobuhiro Watsuki's manga. The trailer covers the first and second cours, showcasing the opening theme "Rurou no Katashiro" by Masaki Suda x Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra and ending theme "Sonzai Shōmei" by KID PHENOMENON. The anime, airing on Fuji TV's Noitamina block since July 6, will run for two consecutive cours and is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.

Sōma Saitō stars as Kenshin Himura, with Rie Takahashi as Kaoru Kamiya. The series is directed by Hideyo Yamamoto and produced by LIDEN FILMS. Watsuki and his collaborator Kaoru Kurosaki resumed the Rurouni Kenshin: Hokkaido Arc manga in June 2018 after a hiatus due to legal issues. The original manga, launched in 1994, has inspired various adaptations, including TV series, films, and a stage musical.
